Dead Nettle

Lamium Purpureum: Dead Nettle

Although looks like the stinging nettle, it is known as 'dead' as it does not sting. Remove the flowers and eat what remains.


Sautéed Dead Nettle with Mint and Garlic


Melt a nob of butter in a frying pan and add washed nettle leaves. 
Add mint and garlic and toss- fry for around 5 minutes.
Serve hot with squeezed lime juice on top.
